1. Shot list # Roll 3 (0:06), slate dated 1951.2.16: An injured prisoner stands with two U.S. soldiers. He appears to have a hand injury and frostbite. Another prisoner is receiving treatment. A U.S. female officer administers vaccinations, and prisoners line up to receive their shots. (1:15) Prisoners are having their hair cut. One stands barefoot, and another is shown with a runny nose. (1:44) Piles of shoes and clothing are stacked up, and prisoners carry them away one by one. Shoes, shirts, trousers, rice bowls, and soup bowls are issued. In front of the camp, prisoners change clothes. Some put on new shoes while others remove old garments. Another prisoner paints the words 'prisoner of war' on shirts and trousers. (3:50) A boy soldier prisoner looks directly at the camera. Another prisoner has 'prisoner of war' written across his back. A prisoner with an injured hand struggles to dress himself. # Roll 4 (4:24), slate dated 1951.2.17: A prisoner holds the slate. Prisoners are being dusted with DDT, sprayed on the outside and inside of their clothes and even on their underwear. DDT is also sprayed onto their hair. (6:10) One prisoner cuts another's hair. All of the prisoners receive short haircuts, and several are shown being clipped at the same time. (7:17) Prisoners cook in the camp kitchen. A doghouse marked 'PW' appears. A prisoner wearing an armband labeled kitchen unit washes his hands. The footage also shows the kitchen area and prisoners chopping firewood beneath a tent marked 'PW.' A sign reading 'Dining Hall, Barracks 7' is visible.
