Record Group 1

Korean War

At NARA II, there are numerous photographs and moving images produced by military and civilian photographers on the themes of division, the Cold War, and war in Korea, North Korea, and Asia. The first record group covering combat, daily life, refugees, massacres, and prisoners will first release the prisoner series.

DMZ

Korean shotlists (video content descriptions) have been created for the collected footage. These are records of previously unseen footage of the Paju, Munsan area, and DMZ region before and after the Korean War.
